　「Awake」リリース前のショウ・ケース・ギグ。以前は極一部で流通した「The Rudess Experiment」のコピー・ブートと思われる。最大の注目としては当時一時的に参加したJordan Rudessの演奏であろうか。しかし、このサウンドボード音源、音のバランスが極端に変であり、これだったらオーディエンス録音の方がききやすいと思った。また、"Caught in a Web"がイントロですぐカットされその後演奏されたとされるAerosmithの"Walk This Way"が収録されていないのが残念である。ちらっとドラムのイントロらしきものがあるが。なお、"Burning My Soul"は「Precious Dreams」と同日のテイク。「Precious Dreams」ではDJ部分はカットされフェードインで入ってくる。

　トレーダー間で流通されていたアイテムの横流しCD-R Bootleg。音質は余り良くないオーディエンス録音であるが不快な音ではない。いずれにせよBootlegの音質に慣れている人のみお薦めのアイテムである。リハーサルを兼ねているのか小さい会場でのLiveである。注目としては「Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence」リリース前のオーディエンスへの初披露曲"The Glass Prison"、"Blind Faith"、"Misunderstood"であろうか。しょっぱなの"The Glass Prison"は特にペトが大変な事になっているが(^^;、オーディエンスは初めてきくであろう曲のため、お構いなしに盛り上がっている。"Blind Faith"から"Keyboard Solo"への流れが美しい。"Misunderstood"のインストアレンジも興味深い。"Lie"のオーディエンスの「ホホホホ」かけ声はちょっと勘弁。(^^; "Strange Deja vu"ではLaBrieが入り損ね、"2112 - Grand Finale (Take 2)"が演奏されるというハプニングがついていてマニアは注目だろう。(^^; 最後は終演BGMの中ブツ切れで終わる。

　盆栽レーベルから連発同時リリース第２弾。音質は現在のブートレベルではかなり悪い部類であり、音レベルも安定せず、またレンジも狭い。デジタル特有の音揺れ／スリップ現象や"The Test That Stumped Them All"から突然"The Great Debate"の無茶な繋ぎがあって粗悪。従ってマニア以外にはお薦めできない内容だ。

　盆栽レーベル連発同時リリース第３弾。オーディエンス録音で今となっては音質は余り良くない部類である。音質にもムラがあり、"Peruvian Skies"や"War Inside My Head"ではマイクが移動したのか突然音が変化してしまうところもある。また、全般的にLaBrieのVo.が雑なのが残念。但し、客の盛り上がりは凄い。すっかりお馴染みになった"Instrumedley"の余裕な演奏"、"Keyboard Solo"から"Lines in The Sand"が凄まじい。Disc 2がお薦めだが、"The Spirit Carries on"での客の私語が気になる。

　WOW WOW放送の日本製Bootleg DVD化。Bootleg CDでは「Wake Up!」として以前イタリアから出ていた。オーディエンスのノリが今よりもMetalしているのが逆に新鮮。メンバーも若いね。番長は野獣だし。画像が一部乱れるものの"Take The Time"後半ジャムのDerekのプレイには注目である。TV録画 + モノラル?でレンジが狭く楽器よりVo.が異様に前に出ている分病み上がりのLaBrieの荒さが目立ってしまう。(^^;

　Bootleg DVD-R２枚組。Disc OneはFates WarningとQueensrycheと回った「Summer 2003 American Tour」の模様とマニア自作"Disappear"のVideo Clip（ぱっと見オフィシャルと勘違いしてしまうかも(^^;）、Disc Twoは"Master of Puppets Footages"、"Fan Club Footages"、"Webisodes : The Making of Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence"などてんこ盛りの内容。
　このDVD-Rの見所としてはタイトル「Caress of Sand」というだけあってRushのマニアックな"The Necromancer"をやっていることであろうか。その他このTourの目玉であるQueensrycheとのアンコールでの共演。Geoffが出家者orヤクザみたいで怖い。(^^;
　Bootlegなので画像や音質はあまり期待しない方が良いことは確か。続けて見ると疲れる。Fan Club Home Videoは見たことがあるモノとないものがあったので大変興味深かった。画像は荒くなっていたけど。"Sanitarium"は「Listen to This Larz」と同日の公演。映像が見られるのが嬉しい。熱心なマニアにはお薦めのDVD-Rである。

　International Fan Clubs CD 2003。同日音源はBootleg 「Live at Graspop Festival 」があるが、流石にサウンドボード音源のため各楽器が明確で「Live at Graspop Festival」は無用となる。但しこのDTIFCの"The Grass Prison"の出だしはトラブルのため約７分はオーディエンス録音になっており上手く処理を行っている。突然音が良くなるので場所はすぐ分かる。個人的にはサウンドボード音源でなければ体感できないみゅんちゃんのベースが格好良くて大推薦。なお、このCDはCarpe Diem! No.19と一緒に送られてきた。感謝。No.19で面白かったのは『マサを訪ねて○千里』でのいかもにイタリア人らしさが爆裂している話かな。(^^;;;

　World Tourbulence - 2nd European Legのルーマニア初公演、野外ステージの模様のDVD-R。ルーマニアのファンの熱狂も伝わってくる。一般TV映像のためかダイジェスト版モノラルである。お国柄か映像も暗く重苦しいが、Dream Theaterのサウンドとマッチしていて独特の雰囲気を醸し出しているような気がする。"Fatal Tragedy"で２回ほど音がとぎれる。また何故か"The Killing Hand"でLaBrieが倒れペトも倒れたまま演奏している姿があるが何かあったのか？なお、公演日クレジットが間違っているため修正した。また蛇足であるがTV放送でのVo.のクレジットがCharlie Dominiciであった。(苦笑)

　Black Shadow Music第３弾。Train of Thought World Tour - European LegのMadrid公演を完全収録。但し、Stereo Soundboard Recordingsとなっているが、'02夏公演からBonus Trackの"Home"を除くと一般TV放送用なのかモノラル録音である。注目はレアな選曲"The Ones Who Help to Set The Sun"であろうか。こうして今回のEuropean Legは選曲が特に決まったフォーマットが余りなく日によってがらりとセットリストを替えるので何が起こるか分からないといった嬉しい驚きがある。組曲やメドレーを除いても40 曲以上からのセレクトである。これは素晴らしい。

　Black Shadow MusicからのBootleg第４弾。BSM-0003であるがBSM-0004よりも後にリリースされた。Black Shadow Musicの今までのリリースの中では一番音質は良い。このレベルの音質であれば充分にJordan RudessのLiveならではの妙な音の連発が楽しめる。ききどころはJordan Rudess節何下に爆裂しDrum Soloを挟む"Caught in a Web"、客が思わずPink Floydと叫ぶ(^^;"One of These Days"、新作の中において残念ながら余りやってくれない"Vacant"であろうか。但し、全体的にマイクの指向性の問題か時々音が回るオーディエンス録音なのであしからず。心なしか"The One Who Help to Set The Sun"は音質が悪くなる印象が．．．。なお、右Ch.はマニアの声が大きい。(笑)

　Geoff Tateが歌う"Peruvian Skies", James LaBrieが歌う"The Real World", The Whoのカヴァー"Won't Get Fooled Again"はマニア必聴だ。
　蛇足であるが、このBootlegのレーベルマークがMetal Blade Recordsと殆ど同じなのでMetalマニアは笑ってください。

　Train of Thought World Tour、North American Leg。"Band History Video"から収録されているコンプリート音源。"Band History Video"オーディエンスの盛り上がりが凄く期待が高まる。この日は「When Dream and Day Unite」リリース15周年で特別なLiveとなった。「When Dream and Day Unite」全曲演奏、"To Live Forever"でCharlie Dominici、"Metropolis Part I"ではCharlieに加えDerek Sherinianが参加している！マニア必聴アイテムであることは間違いないのだが、残念なことに録音レベルが高すぎて潰れているため、音質があまり良くないのが難点。このBootlegは私のG4 Macでは認識しなかったが、iMac G3ではOK、またWinでも読み込みが出来るとの情報があった。

　Official Bootlegシリーズ第４弾。今回の３枚は実にアメリカンな包装だったためケースに何らかの傷有りであった。Radiant Recordsを見習って欲しいものだ。(^^; CD1のEarly Charlie Demos 1987は"Afterlife"のギターが何故かAlex Lifeson風でニヤリとしてしまう。またCharlieの歌い回しが異なる"The Ones Who Help to Set The Sun"が興味深い。CD2に隠しトラック有り。「Xmas Demos 1988」のChalie Dominiciが歌う"Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End"はThe Beatles好きというのが素直に現れていて素晴らしい。元々の録音機材がしょぼいものの、当然ながら音質はこのDiscの方が最も良い。但し、デジタルへのコピーの際の不手際か元々がそうか不明だが、音がビリつく箇所があり耳障りであることは確かである。
