　とうとうリリースされた「A Change of Seasons」スペシャルJapan Tour!。この日は私も行ったので非常に嬉しい。長大なイントロを挟んだ"Lifting Shadows off a Dream"、あまり演奏されていない"Innocence Faded"など興味深い演奏が満載。欲を言えば仕事で泣く泣く行けなかった渋公のLiveもリリースを望みたい。出来としては渋公公演が良かったという声が多い。
　なお、この日の"Instrumental Mini Medley"〜"Innocence Faded"は「Precious Things」でもきくことができた。

　「MOP」のOfficial Bootlegがとうとうリリースされたので同日公演のBootleg「Master of Puppets」は不要となる。完璧な演奏と素晴らしい音質によって興奮が高まる！必聴。なお、残念ながら現時点ではOfficial Bootlegの中で唯一この盤だけが完売状態である。

　「Train of Thought World Tour - North American Leg」のカナダ公演を完全収録したDVD。来日公演直前までこれを見て興奮していたファンも多いだろう。私もその内の一人だ。もうイントロからノックアウト。映像も2F最前席柵下からのため客の頭など邪魔にならず非常に見やすい。撮影者はDream Theaterのファン、特にJohn Petrucciのファンであることが分かる。(^^; "This Dying Soul"の途中で一瞬映像が途切れるが高品質のオーディエンス・ショット。やはり注目はカナダ公演と言うこともあってRushの"A Passage to Bangkok"であろう（但しRudessは演奏に参加せず）。正規盤DVD「Live atBudokan」と共にこのBootlegはマニア必見だ。

    　日本武道館公演Bootleg２種類目。若干音が揺れるところもあるものの高音質オーディエンス録音といってよいだろう。Bonus Tracksとしてローマ公演のネットからダウンロードしたと思われる２曲が収録されているが、サウンドボード音源？のモノラル。武道館公演Bootlegは私はこれにて打ち止め。正規盤DVDを楽しみに待ちたいと思う。

    　「Train of Thought World Tour - Asian Leg」大阪公演２日目。同じ会場での２日目の公演は他のアーティストのまるごとカヴァーをやるという命題をかかえたDream Theater、私は大阪まで見に行ったぞ。
    　他公演でIron Maidenの「The Number of The Beast」は既に披露済みだったのでRushかQueensrycheではないかと期待していたが、結局出てきたのは同じ「The Number of The Beast」。口あんぐり＆頭が真っ白。贅沢な要求だったようだ。この時ほどBootlegを聴き過ぎるのは良くないと思った事はないね。トドメのアンコールは"A Change of Seasons"。イントロが鳴った瞬間、もう終わりかと、やるせなさが残ったLiveであった。(^^; (^^;
    　しかし冷静に考えてみると、小さめのオールスタンディングの会場だったため３面スクリーンはなく、前半部分はイリーガルなセットリストだったのが興味深い。間髪入れずに"The Glass Prison"から"This Dying Soul"の流れは圧巻。これはかなりのインパクトだった。個人的にききたかった"A Mind Beside Itself: Erotomania〜Voices〜The Silent Man"は結局、この来日公演では大阪２日のみのスペシャル・プレゼント。
    　結論：この日のLiveは前半が要だった。(^^;

    　名古屋公演。このBootlegは日付が間違って記載されている。あまり演奏されない"The Great Debate"、"Vacant"が演奏しているのが注目だ。

    　限定200枚シリアルNo.付プレスCD盤。ちなみに私のは005番であった。トレーダーの間でも流通していなかったマテリアルが突然リリース。ききやすいオーディエンス録音。既にご存じのようにこのWaking Up The World Tour - Japanese LegはLaBrieが風邪のためにVo.は残念ながら調子は悪い。このLegの他の公演Bootleg「Wake Up!」、「Forbidden Dreams」に比べても調子の悪さはズバ抜けている？(^^; 特に後半が可哀想なくらいで、まるで"Another Day"は別の曲のようである。"Voices", "Metropolis Part I"もかなり辛そう。マニアは「Precious Things」の"6:00"と比べて見よう。(^^; (^^;
    　但し、演奏自体は問題なく、新加入したDerekのプレイ、この頃は最も攻撃的でHeavyな演奏だった記憶があるため、"Erotomania"辺りは必聴かも。
    　また、通訳付の阪神淡路大震災へのメッセージでバンドの姿勢が伺える。そんなに大きな会場ではないと思われる福岡公演、LaBrieが安易に「Japan!」ではなく、きちんと「Fukuoka!」と認識してシャウトするアットホームな雰囲気を楽しみたい。

    　恒例のLimited 100 Copies Only（大いに疑問）盤のオーディエンス録音CD-R Bootleg。Yesの前座で回っている「Traing of Thought - Summer 2004 American Tour」最新TourのBootlegだ。演奏時間は約１時間なので完全収録でもDream TheaterのBootlegでは珍しく１枚で収まっている。(^^; LaBrieのVo.は調子良く、ききやすい音質であるが、Boot DVDの「Caress of Sand」収録と同じ会場であるJones Beach, Wantagh, NY.であるが、軽い音質であると言うこととマイクが海風の音？(笑)を拾ってしまっているのが耳障りであり、マニア向けの音源と言っていいだろう。
    　YesとのTourを意識してか"Machine Messiah"という微妙なカヴァーがSet Listに入っている。このTourは今のところSet Listは時間的制約のためか全く同じようである。
    　なお、Bonus Trackとしてパリ公演でのYesのカヴァー"Heart of The Sunrise"が収録されている。
    　追伸として、Black Shadow Musicから沢山Bootlegがリリースされているが、このBootlegレーベルものはよっぽどの事がない限り、もう私は買わない。他のもっとマニアなサイトなどを参照ください。多分MP3圧縮音源という好きではない音質だし、第一、金が続かない。(^^;

    147☆Multiusos La Cubierta (Independent Music IM-63690) '04
    　Train of Thought World Tour、European Leg、2/11/2004のSpain Madrid公演。何故か今のタイミング('07/8)でリリースされた恐らくメンバーが公認していないハーフ・ブート物。プレス盤2CDでHMVで普通に購入できた。（一度キャンセル待ちになったけれど。(^^;）入手した結果、この音源は「Live in Madrid 2004」と全く同じソースだった。また、「Live in Madrid 2004」のボーナス曲"Home"は含んでいない。その他のBootlegでも入手可能なため、さほど貴重な音源ではないが、全くのBootlegではなく？しかもプレス盤なので、メンバーに気付かれる前にマニアは入手しておくと良いだろう。(^^; この日の"The Silent Man"のPianoアレンジとエレクトリック・ギター部のアレンジは好きだね。
